Community Workers RegisterThe register of community workers is a new initiative of the Australian Community Workers Association and has been developed in response to member feedback. The register provides practitioners with the opportunity to highlight their qualifications, professional practicing level and clearance checks. They can also upload a photograph of themselves and provide a link to their LinkedIn profile.
In line with other professions such as social workers, medical practitioners, nurses, engineers, occupational therapists, dentist and personal trainers, the register is first and foremost concerned with public safety and quality care. It is a tool for practitioners, employers, carers and consumers to ensure that those working and offering services in the sector are who they say they are and have a genuine qualification.

The process for you to create a register listing is easy and free. We have already assessed your qualifications and work experience so all you need do is log in to the Members’ only area and fill out your listing details.
If you have a relevant Diploma, Bachelor or higher qualification
If you have a relevant diploma level or higher qualification, but have not yet applied for membership you will need to apply for assessment before you can register. See eligibility criteria for details.
If you have a relevant Certificate III or IV level qualifications only
