ACWA endorses good quality training to ensure that your professional development time and money is well spent, and that practitioners have flexible options to learn online or attend workshops and conferences.

The following training programs have been assessed and endorsed through a rigorous process to ensure they are relevant to ACWA's Code of ethics and Practice guidelines.

If you are an ACWA member, you need to undertake 20 hours per year of relevant, targeted, professional activities to maintain your membership and currency. Your professional development is not only an investment in your career but ensures better outcomes for the people with whom you work. Members will need to use the ACWA Member CPD Record to keep track of their CPD and supply this come renewal time. To fully understand the CPD requirements for members download the information sheet.

Creating a professional development plan that addresses your specific needs will ensure that the activities you select directly support your practice and career advancement. Read our advice on how to develop a personalised CPD plan.
