Consultation on flexible course delivery arrangements

ACWA Inc - Friday, June 26, 2020
We introduced flexible course delivery arrangements in April for providers of ACWA accredited courses. The arrangements were designed to ensure students still receive the best possible education available under during COVID-19 restrictions.

These temporary guidelines are now due for review and we invite feedback from all relevant stakeholders, including education providers, employers, fieldwork placement agencies and students.

Please consider the following questions and email (info@acwa.org.au) us your responses by COB Friday, 3 July 2020.

As always, we are available if you have any questions.

Consultation questions

1) What is working well in flexible course delivery guidelines?

2) What changes or improvements should be made to the guidelines?

3) Do you think there needs to be alternative provisions for fieldwork placements?

If yes, please provide your suggestions. This should include a rationale on how it would meet the needs of the students and employing organisations and how it would see ACWA accredited graduates placed in the job markets against other professionals such as social workers.

4) Do you think the current arrangements should be extended? Please explain why or why not.
