Psychosocial Learning Hub (mobile micro-learning program)


This is an ACWA endorsed CPD program offered by Mental Health Victoria.

This micro-learning program includes 7 modules that focus on building foundational psychosocial disability and mental health capabilities in a NDIS context.

The program is underpinned by recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice and principles, and self-determination and choice frameworks, which are regarded as essential for working with people with mental ill health.

Each 3-4 week module is made up of written, video and podcast content. Plus, peer-to-peer, supervision and self-reflection activities. As well as an evidence-based quizzing platform that delivers daily 3-minute learnings direct to learners to embed and strengthen knowledge. The program is digital, accessible on any device and delivered in bite-sized portions.

Module 3 - Dignity of risk, safety and wellbeing
Module 4 - Collaboration
Module 5 - Supporting self-determination and achievement of goals
Module 6 - Self-reflection and continuous learning
Module 7 - Psychosocial disability capabilities for supervisors

Registration and enquiries

600 free learning places will be delivered for Victorian NDIS workers, beginning 13 July 2020 and finishing 12 March 2021. The program is funded by DHHS and Mental Health Victoria.
